The Day long Workshop on Domestic Fundraising, meticulously organized by The Bridge India on October 14, 2023, at the prestigious India Islamic Cultural Centre in the heart of New Delhi, served as an illuminating gathering for non-profit professionals, enthusiasts, and seasoned experts alike. This remarkable workshop was dedicated to the comprehensive exploration of the multifaceted world of fundraising, with a particular emphasis on the domestic landscape.
NGOs facing fundraising challenges enhanced their understanding of domestic fundraising comprising of Corporate and Individual Fundraising and learnt about the relevant tools and techniques from the experts. Through enlightening sessions and interactive discussions the workshop provided a platform for unveiling these crucial skills, empowering attendees with the knowledge and skills essential for
sustaining and expanding their organizations’ invaluable work thus enabling the participants to overcome fundraising challenges and continue making a positive impact in their communities.
The workshop drew a diverse array of participants, representing some of the most prominent NGOs across the nation. Organizations such as Literacy India, Udayan Care, Bal Raksha Bharat (Save the Children), SOS Children’s Villages of India, The Leprosy Mission, Pradan, Prayas JAC Society, and many more, were notably present. Their collective presence underscored the significance of this event as a unifying platform for fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange among these esteemed organizations, each of which plays an essential role in the betterment of society. The event not only provided an opportunity to gain knowledge about domestic fundraising but also shed light on tools and techniques in use for attracting individual donations.
